…A Few of His Favorite Things…

Cars, cars, and more cars.  Actually everything that moves, be it tractor, mortorcycle, or four wheeler,  is now a car as well.  I don’t think it’s exagerrating to say that he says the word “car” at least a hundred times a day!

Caleb loves to draw… color… scribble.  We have to be very careful to put any writing utensil out of his reach or he will write in any book he can find.  Hmm… a budding author , perhaps?  Notice how well he holds a pencil.

Food rates pretty high on his list, as well.  He easily scarfs down as much  as his sisters, and their appetites are none too puny!  He especially digs Mama’s peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes!  Josh says it looks more like the pancakes have him for breakfast instead!

He’s also quite the scholar.  Maybe his sister’s weird habits have rubbed off on him, but he loves to carry around an encyclopedia.  He will flip through one for the longest time.  I’m glad.  The only other times he’s quiet and still for that long is when  he’s pouring out an entire bottle of laundry detergent on the floor or cracking eggs inside the kitchen cabinets or pouring honey over his head.  Encyclopedias rock.

To top off his list:

Going somewhere, anywhere with Daddy.

Sleeping with Rachel.  Funny, I put him in his own bed every night, but he wakes up most mornings sandwiched between Rachel and Katharina.

Rachel (Wa-shel).

Chickens (Kickens).

Shoes (Soos).

Being tickled on his feet.

Saying “Amen” at the end of every prayer time.

We love you, Little Buddy!

  1. Oh my, now I know my boys are just normal boys! 🙂
